Hi, welcome to the December 2022 eToro Portfolio Update.
My name is Vincenzo Stefanini and my eToro username is vincenzost.

In December my portfolio closed with a profit of 2%, despite Bitcoin being down almost 4%.
Overall, 2022 has been negative for my portfolio, but also the whole market has moved lower, due to the monetary policy of the US central bank.
The positive side is that I have outperformed Bitcoin and all the other cryptos.
In fact, Bitcoin was down almost 70% last year, but my portfolio closed down only 30%, so I was able to reduce the drawdown of my portfolio and the risk score.
The performance of my portfolio for the past 2 years is about 500% profit.
I know that for many of you the copy is still negative.
In this case, I recommend being patient and keeping the copy open for the long term.
At some point, your portfolio will be in profit again.

December has been a negative month for cryptos and stocks.
The hoped “Santa Claus Rally” didn’t happen this year.
I was able to make a profit also on this falling market because I had some short positions on stocks.
I’m expecting the overall macro conditions to improve this year, potentially from the second half of the year, however, I will be able to make a profit regardless of the market trend, while keeping the portfolio risk low.

Last month, I have closed some short positions in profit.
Right now I have long positions on cryptos and a few short positions in stocks.
I am waiting before opening new positions this month.
I have cash available in my balance to use for new trades.

The market conditions remain the same as last year: restrictive monetary policy from the FED, high inflation and high-interest rates.
However, I’m expecting the conditions to improve this year, that’s why now is the best time to invest, in my opinion.
If you are already a copier, keep the copy open and add new funds to the copy every month.
Remember that this is an investment for the long term.

• Cash: 55%

My goals for this year are:

• to keep the risk score low

• to close the year in profit
• increase the assets under management to over $500,000
