Intro

Hi, welcome to the May 2023 eToro Portfolio Update.
My name is Vincenzo Stefanini and my eToro username is vincenzost.

Portfolio’s Performance

In May my portfolio closed negative at -2.30%.
If your copy is still negative, please be patient and keep the copy open for the long term.
I’m expecting to close this year in profit.
Now is a good time to add more funds to the copy or start investing.

Portfolio’s Strategy

April has been a positive month for the main stocks indices but has been negative for cryptos.
I will make changes to the asset allocation, depending on the market’s next direction.
I am planning to open new positions and I will use the cash available in my balance for this.
Now is the best time to invest, in my opinion.
If you are already a copier, keep the copy open and add new funds to the copy every month.
Remember that this is an investment for the long term.
If you are not copying my portfolio, now is a great time to start investing.

Market Forecast

Despite the stock market going up last month, the overall macro view remains uncertain.
Inflation is decreasing but still remains high.
Interest rates are still high and possibly will increase more.
Indicators suggest that the US economy will enter a recession in the next 6 months.
On the technical side, stock indices and many cryptos are trading above their 200-day moving average, which is a bullish sign.
That’s why my view remains neutral.
The next FED meeting is on 14 June 2023 and 76% of investors expect a pause (no interest rate change).

My opinion

Markets haven’t really moved much since a year ago, that’s why the portfolio had not made significant returns, however, this will change soon and I am waiting for the next market direction to change the asset allocation.
For this reason, I remain cautious, but at the same time, I am planning to increase my exposure to gold, silver and bitcoin, which I think will perform well in the upcoming months, no matter what will happen, but I am waiting for lower prices to increase my exposure.
I will use part of my balance for this, but I am not going all in.
I will monitor the market daily and do my best to take advantage of the market movement, in any direction.

In the past 2 years, my portfolio has made more than 86% profit.

• Cash: 62%

Goals

My goals for this year are:

• to keep the risk score low

• to close the year in profit
• increase the assets under management to over $500,000
